Request to Visitors

In order to ensure that all our guest can enjoy their visit, and to allow us to maintain a proper environment for our works of art, we ask for your cooperation in the following points:
・This building tends to amplify sounds. Please be as quiet as possible.
・In order to protect the works of art, the temperature and light levels of the exhibition rooms are kept constant. Please note that you may feel cold or the room may seem a bit dark.
・Please do not touch the exhibits or display cases.
・Please refrain from using things like ballpoint pens, mechanical pencils, fountain pens, writing brushes, etc. that may stain the exhibits.
・When entering the building, please turn off your mobile phone or set it to silent mode and refrain from making calls. Calls should be made in the lobby located on each floor.
・Please refrain from bringing food and drinks (including candy, gum, and plastic bottled drinks) into the museum.
・For beverages, there is a tea service corner (free of charge) in the event room on the 1st floor. Please do not take this tea out of the event room.
・Do not lie down or stand on the sofas or benches inside the museum.
・Smoking is prohibited inside the museum.
・Please refrain from bringing large luggage into the museum. We have lockers (free of charge) or you can leave it at the reception desk.
・Please leave your umbrella in the umbrella stand.
・Please refrain from bringing pets into the museum. (Guide dogs, nursing dogs, and other service dogs are allowed.)
・Dangerous items are prohibited.
・Facilities such as lockers and toilets are only for visitors to the museum.
・Resale of tickets for cash, voucher and coupon sites, internet auctions, etc. is prohibited. We ask that you please refrain from transferring or presenting tickets near the museum entrance.
・Please refrain from any behavior or actions that might disturb the other visitors.
・Please follow the instructions of our staff.
