Smiling Mountains in Spring: The Four Seasons in Modern Japanese Paintings

Modern Japanese painters have celebrated the coming of spring after the long winter with pictures of various spring scenery, from landscapes with green mountains to dainty flowers and birds. This exhibition features works from the museum collection with a palpable sense of the clean, fresh air of early spring.

Admission Adults ¥1,000*, ages 15–17 ¥500, ages 14 and under free.
*¥800 per person for groups of 20 or more.
